Fussell Farms has always been a family driven business, with 3 generations having worked on the farm over a span of nearly 60 years.

Phillip Fussell first purchased the farm and some land in 1965 and was first a small dairy and piggery. Times changed quite quickly and Phillip moved to arable farming which has been the main focus of the farm for 30 years. Over those 30 years we have grown into Rode Haulage, Fussell Fine Foods, Rode Hill Fishery and Frome Area Building Supplies which are all based on site, just outside of the quaint village of Rode in Somerset.

 

Fussell Farms pride ourselves on offering small farmers the best contracting experience as possible.  With a dedicated team of trained operators supported by a management team with a wealth of experience we can ensure your job, is completed to a high standard, quickly and efficiently.  We have a fleet of modern and up to date machinery such as our Fendt 716, 718 and 720. Our range of services is broad and flexible to enable us to tailor to what suits you.
